The Stromsdal in Juankoski produces cardboard for packaging food, book covers, brochures, menus, ecc.
It is the only company that produces this type of cardboard , which has the characteristics of being very resistant, fully recyclable and biodegradable.
It produces 250 tons of cardboard a day, composed by 70% of wood forest; 170m3 of fir wood a day are employed (That is 90’000m3 a year) with a final cost of production of 700€ per ton.
